haha. may brings mother's day and my birthday and this year a very rare mama and papa getaway!
we went to martinborough overnight with a bunch of friends to celebrate someone's bday.

and soon it was mama's day! the boys took such good care of me, making breakfast in bed and a beautiful card and a gorgeous bouquet delivered to the door on sunday! no small feat in wellington!

april-- april means easter

april means easter but i am still trying to wrap my head around it being autumn rather than spring!
there aren't any spring bulbs but the tradition of decorating eggs is a must keep.... this year we had a little gathering for friends to come over and join us in making

sad to have our second (and last) hot x buns, champagne and kids egg hunt with our friends the rissels who are soon moving to santa barabara. we may have to pick up the tradition!







field trip at crossways! i have been helping the initiative to have a veg plot at the community gardens up the road and was asked if i would be keen to again help chaperone the kids up there for a harvest and lunch. we all had a blast of course :)
