liam's language is just exploding. he surprises us with new phrases quite often these days: "oh, man!" when in the car yesterday i realized i couldn't turn left. and " i have an idea!" "(dis)gusting!" with a laugh.
you can't help but wonder where these things come from.... am pretty sure the 'oh man' is me ;) "actually...." definitely came from henry joan.
the mixing up of pronouns- "hers is very nice" is very charming and am quite sure i'll miss it when he starts getting it right. have been hearing many snippets of songs that he has absorbed and he is beginning to be interested in joining in with singing and hand gestures in group settings. papa and i are both really enjoying conversing with liam and falling in love with this sweet little boy a little bit more each day as we get to know him better :)
and he can really jump now! we set up his little hoop on the back deck and play keep away/shoot bball often. he's becoming a lot more physical- wanting to climb and hang and jump off of things. it's fun to help him get into enjoying his body! he's also dancing a little bit here and there.... have yet to capture that but he's def got his own cool style ;)
and the blessing we say at dinner just came out all of a sudden in one piece:
that water is really cold. he doesn't care
and we have lots of fun in the tide pools looking for sea creatures
